I consider April an amazing professional. As a Peruvian model in my country living 5 years in the US no one during this time treat my hair and make a perfect color like her. She is the best!!!
Last year I was fortunate enough to be invited to two proms. With little styling skill of my own April was my life saver! For the first prom I just wanted my hair curled, but whenever I try to curl my stringy hair at home the curl falls out in the first hour. Amazingly April’s technique worked and my hair remained full and stylish the whole night! For the second prom I decided to take a different approach with an up-do. April was able to style my hair based on my description; and because my second prom fell on my birthday April incorporated a tiara into my hair style! Going to April was definitely worth it, I had a great prom and received so many compliments!
April has been doing my hair for years and when I moved to London and then to Paris, I still had to come back to San Diego to get my hair done by April! She really is the best! She is creative, artistic, passionate, has a great eye, and always has a clear vision. There are so many times when I have gotten my hair done abroad and then I end up flying back to San Diego for April to fix it! I am an opera singer and I have had April do my hair for many concerts all of the world. She always makes sure that I go out on stage feeling like a million bucks before I have even sung my first note. I cannot recommend April enough….Once you get your ‘do’ done by April you will be as big of a fan as me.
I was so happy to have April do my hair and my girls’ hair for our wedding. It was so great that she was able to come to the hotel room for us, it made the day of my wedding that much easier. She also made me so extremely happy that she did EXACTLY what I wanted. I talked to other stylists and they said “We can’t do that, sorry. Think of something else” I told he how I wanted my hair, was anticipating the same rejection but what I got was “of course we can do that”. I was so happy to finally get a yes! My hair came out EXACTLY how I wanted and it looked soooo beautiful. She also did my maid of honor, bridesmaid and my mom and they all looked stunning. April is amazing and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone I know. Thank you April for helping me look fantastic at my wedding!
